The last Christmas presents of this year

In with one of Mat's presents was a Ted Baker rubber ducky. He gave me the duck - I've called him Ted the Duck.

I had a great Christmas
First, me, Mat and Lucy opened presents before breakfast. Then we went to see Lucy’s mum and dad and Bramley. I’d never met Bramley. I was very nervous at first, but Bram brought me his new toy to share.
Then we went to play (and wee) in the garden.
Then it was time for lunch, so we went to Mat’s mum and dad’s. All that playing with Bramley had tired me out, so I slept through the entire Christmas dinner.
On Boxing Day, I opened some more presents that I hadn’t had the energy to open on Christmas Day.
Mat took me out to play in the garden - he wanted to try out his new wellies that I bought him for Christmas. He had to bring me in though ‘cos I kept trying to jump off the wall.
In the evening, Lucy’s mum and dad brought Bramley to my house to play. We had a riot! Once they had gone, I slept through the entire night without waking up until 6.30am the next day.

Grass, shopping, Stuey and 'Sit'

Hello.
Today has been another busy day. I climbed up to the third step of the stairs today, when Lucy wasn't looking, so Lucy made Mat buy a gate for the stairs on his way home from work.
When Mat came home from work (and put the gate up) we went shopping. Me and Lucy stayed in the car - I was wearing my car harness (hand-me-down'ed from Bramley). Then we went to the pet shop to get me a new harness clip. I chose some sweets from the shelf too!
When we got home, I played on grass. I've never been on grass before. I couldn't decide if I should eat it or roll in it, so I did both.
After that, Stuey came to see me so I could play with him and chew him.
This evening Mat has been teaching me to 'sit'. I can do it when I want to, but to be honest, it's far easier to jump at Mat to get the treat from his hand rather than sit and wait for it. Mat says I'll learn.

First visit to the vet
Welcome to my blog
I'm Arthur and this is my blog. When I do something interesting I plan to write about it here. Obviously my paws weren't designed with computer keyboards in mind, so my owners (Mat and Lucy) will help with the typing for me.
A bit about me:
I was born on the 1st November 2008. My mum is called Tessie and my dad is called Harry. Cheryl looks after my mum and I lived with her, and my 2 brothers and 4 sisters, for my first 7 1/2 weeks, before Lucy and Mat brought me to their house to live. I've been here for a whole day and like it a lot.
I've got my very own crate that I sleep in and more toys than I can possibly play with - I never know which one to play with next! I'm getting better at my toilet training and I have kept my bed completely clean.
Today:
We played with my new toys. As you can see, shoe laces are far more fun than expensive toys from the pet shop.
Lucy's mum and dad came to see me this morning. They brought me a cool new toy, but I was too sleepy to play with it until after they had gone.
After my lunch, Mat and Lucy took me for a walk to see the outside world and to post a letter, but I'm too small to walk, so Mat carried me. I had to wear my new collar with ID tag - its a bit big still. Then this afternoon, Mat's mum and dad brought Mat's nan, and Mat's brother too. They brought me some chewy sticks which I shall have tonight before bed.
Tomorrow I have to go and see the vets for my first vaccination injection. I'll blog here how it goes.
